I’m a business owner, entrepreneur, Certified Professional Coach through iPEC (the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching), wife and mom to an adorable baby boy and a much-loved fur baby. Phew!
I understand – really understand – the struggles that come with running your own business, managing people, making tough decisions, prioritizing, juggling family time, trying to find more hours in the day and all the fears, doubts and second guessing that goes along with it.
My path to discovering my true passion – coaching womenpreneurs – has been a long and decidedly winding one.
At 24 years old and with a masters degree in international journalism, I worked for over a decade across Canada as a news writer, television segment director, freelance writer and videographer.
Next, I worked as an account manager in public relations at an award-winning boutique PR and marketing firm in Vancouver, helping to write, edit and design collateral material for non-profit organizations across the province.
That led me to advertising sales – both as a writer and sales rep – which I had a decidedly love-hate relationship with. Thankfully by then I’d made a pretty life changing decision: that I never wanted to work for anyone else again. And the business owner in me was born.
Since 2007 I’ve been working as the founder and managing partner of a Toronto-based, all-female real estate team, empowering my team members to face their fears, create big goals AND realize them. I’ve built the team from the ground up, resulting in a successful self-managed business that’s allowed me to re-define myself and immerse myself in my passion for coaching.
The last 25 years of my professional life has taught me an incredibly important lesson – that you CAN do ANYTHING you set your mind to – whether that’s starting a brand new business, leaving the one you have and starting afresh, making more money, finding your passion, learning how to work smarter not harder and building something you can be proud of.
Is it scary? Totally.
Is it a challenge? Of course.
Is it worth it? Completely.
I’d love to help you create the business and life you’ve always wanted. If you’re passionate and committed to making time for your success, let’s get started!
